The surface mount rework station is good for assembling surface mount circuits by hand and also for repairing surface mount circuits. Additionally, it can be used for traditional through-hole circuits.

About

The General Radio 1382 is a Random Noise Generator that can generate noise in one of three spectrums

  • “White” noise – constant energy per cycle bandwidth
  • “Pink” noise – constant energy per octave bandwidth
  • “USASI” noise for calibrating sound level meters as specified in the USASI Standard S1.4

This type of signal is useful for room-acoustics studies, loudspeaker and microphone test, psychoacoustic tests, filter tests, crosstalk measurements, calibration checks on recording systems, and modulation of signal generators and test oscillators.
