Introduction to CAD – Computer Aided Design

Computer Aided Design (CAD) is a great aid to virtually anyone who creates – artists, makers, engineers, woodworkers, etc. This class will help get you started with CAD. We will step through the design of a 3D part in four different CAD programs: OnShape, Fusion360, Solidworks, and FreeCAD. All have a free version except for Solidworks, which is $99/year for the “Maker” version. All four are in active use by different Fox.Build members.
It is recommended you sign up for one of these 4 and bring your laptop to class so you can design along with us. You can subscribe/download them here:
