To operate correctly several setup actions must be performed.
First, the crank must be installed as shown (this should already be done – this info is in case it needs to be re-installed for maintenance).

There is a folder with tips / tricks and helpful information about this machine located in a manila folder in the desk drawer by the window. Extra needles, bobbins and threader located in the drawer under the machine.
